I realized that those programs did things that I would never desire to do, and if I ever got to that level of experience, I’d let someone else set it all up for me, anyway! I just wanted to keep thing as simple as possible so that I did not have to take 9 college music courses to understand some computer program!

Once I’d found the right program or software, things went fine from then on. The download is what took the longest and right away I was able to let it make beats for me with the sounds that came directly from the software already installed in it. I quickly learned that although I love the sounds that come through the speakers, it’s best to wear my headphones so my spouse does not go nuts having to listen to it. So, when I switched to the headphones I also found that my concentration grew, and I was able to get much more creative with the beats anyway. I was amazed at what the tiniest change or adjustment made to the beat, and I learned a lot about beat progression even that first day!
